Instructional:
1. Kindergarten
Job Description
Coordinate with the other Kindergarten teacher to plan, prepare, and implement all lessons and activities
Help screen prospective Kindergarten students for future enrollment
Work with our Pre-Kindergarten and First grade teachers and parents to maximize student retention
This position may be either three day (M, T, W) or five day depending upon enrollment and other staffing considerations.
Qualifications
Applicant must have a degree in elementary education or early childhood education
Applicant must possess a love for young students and a passion for Christian education
Applicant must be a professing Christian who regularly attends a local church in agreement with our statement of faith
2. Librarian
Job Description
Teach lessons and oversee library time for students in grades K-6
Maintain book collection
Part-time position (we would consider combining it with another part-time position listed)
Qualifications
Applicant must demonstrate an ability to work well with young children
Applicant must possess an enthusiasm for reading
Applicant must be a professing Christian who regularly attends a local church in agreement with our statement of faith
Non-Instructional:
1. Head of School
Job Description
While it is our sincere hope that the work of Columbia County Christian School is the Lords work, we realize that He calls all of us to some particular aspect of that work. We believe that the Head of School at CCCS is called to play three key roles Executive, Educator, and Entrepreneur.
As Executive the Head of School is expected to consult and deliberate with the appropriate people and then to make those decisions necessary for the efficient daily operation of the school as well as those decisions that make possible the implementation of the Boards strategic long term goals for Columbia County Christian School.
As Educator the Head of School will set the tenor for both the academic and spiritual environment of CCCS through the clear communication of a set of performance expectations for both the staff and the students.
As Entrepreneur the Head of School should possess the ability to represent and sell the school publicly as well as the drive to do whatever is needed behind the scenes to keep the school running effectively.
Qualifications
The Head of School must be a professing Christian who is able to clearly articulate a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
The Head of School must be (or become) a regularly attending member of a local church that is in agreement with our Statement of Faith (click here).
The Head of School should have educational classroom, administrative, and executive experience.
The Head of School should have a passion for Christian education.

2. Classroom Aide (2 Positions)
Job Description
Assist the teacher in the daily implementation of classroom activities
Whether these positions are full-day or part-day will be determined by student enrollment and other staffing considerations
Qualifications
Applicant must demonstrate an ability to work well with young children
Applicant must possess an enthusiasm for Christian education
Applicant must be a professing Christian who regularly attends a local church in agreement with our statement of faith
3. Lunchroom Aide
Job Description
Assist the Lunch Director with food preparation, serving, and clean-up
Part-time position (10am-2pm)
Qualifications
Applicant must be comfortable working with a wide student age range
Applicant must be a professing Christian who regularly attends a local church in agreement with our statement of faith
