Welcome to Columbia County Christian School (CCCS)!
The 2023-2024 school year marks the 23rd Anniversary of CCCS. We are grateful for God’s faithfulness in providing a Christian school for the families of the greater Columbia County area.
In the early months of 1999, a group of parents desired to start a Christian School that would glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. The school had no property, no students, no teachers, no books, no desks and no funds. Yet God provided in amazing ways during that summer for the school to acquire a 15-acre property with two buildings at 123 Schoolhouse Road in the Buckhorn area of Bloomsburg. After much hard work and seeing God’s incredible blessings, we opened our doors in September 1999 with over 200 students. A key concept that was evident throughout this adventure was: God provides when His children come together to accomplish His will for His glory.
After 23 years, God is still providing for CCCS. We continue to desire a Christian School that will glorify Him through all aspects of our programs. At present, the spiritual, academic and extra-curricular programs have been expanded. We invite you to browse our website to learn more about our school. You are welcome to come and tour our campus and encounter the family atmosphere here. We are confident that you will find a warm, nurturing environment that is committed to meeting the spiritual, academic and social needs of our students.
